I picked up this audiobook “You Are (A Comedy Special)” by Maria Bamford, on the recommendation of a friend and then proceeded, against my usual inclination, to binge listen to it from start to finish, thus failing to do all of the steps. But I did laugh a lot, so let’s call that stand-up comedy.
Bamford is hilarious, and I think my favorite thing about her is her capacity for funny voices. No matter what she's talking about, dark, light, her lightning-fast shifts in and out of different pseudo characters is amazing to listen to and experience.
