The law is complicated, and the study of it is hard. You can get an idea of how hard in "Law School for Everyone" by the Great Courses & lectured by various legal scholars. I know, keen insight like the law is hard is why you follow me, and I imagine it's nice to feel more intelligent than someone.
Seriously though, this course gave me a great mental framework of the legal system—maybe I should specify the legal system in the United States. In any case, I think it's valuable to know about topics, such as the law, even if it isn't exactly interesting to you—because ignorance about something doesn't mean you won't have to face it one day. It's always better to know something rather than nothing, in my opinion.
