"Crooked Kingdom" by Leigh Bardugo is a fantastic sequel to "Six of Crows" everything I loved about the first, and more. It's also single-handedly made reconsider the duology as being just as valid as the more traditional trilogy.
Without having to establish the core six protagonists again, Bardugo is freed up in this book to hit the ground running through the streets of her fictional city of Ketterdam, which is probably my favorite location in her stories. "Crooked Kingdom" isn't just another heist story but an all-out shadow war between thieves, merchants, assassins, nations, and most of all—Grisha.
