Micro Mention "Ramsey's Gold"

Russell Blake

I'm going to level. I mainly bought "Ramsey's Gold" because it was a daily deal on Audible, and Ray Porter read it—and it was fine. An amusing way to while away a few hours, but I couldn't get out of my head that I was reading a novel about "Uncharted."

I don't read many, just straight contemporary action-adventure novel's so admittedly, this is a departure for me. I've seen some people review this book as being like Indiana Jones, and I guess there are some similarities. Still, Drake Ramsey, other than being an American treasure hunter, isn't all that similar to Indiana, in my opinion. That isn't a good or bad observation. I just thought it was important to clarify. The adventure was like one of Indiana's, but the man himself is different.

Ray Porter, of course, is fantastic as always if you go in for the audio version, and I think you should if you're going to pick this one up.
