Micro Mention "Kingpin"

Kevin Poulsen

Not going to lie—my favorite thing about Kevin Poulsen’s “Kingpin” was the bit about the FBI agent Keith Mularski aka Master Splyntr from Pittsburgh. Why? Because multiple times during the book, I could say, “I know where that is!” …all small city people are like this.

This book is an interesting and modern true crime story because it combines digital and real-world elements. The people Poulsen talks about are just as colorfully multifaceted as characters in a novel. Plus, I felt how he laid out the events of this true story worked just like any techno-thriller crime drama.
